You're not just looking for someone to show up with a camera. You're looking for someone who gets it — who understands that the 60 people in that room were chosen on purpose, that every detail was designed with intention, and that the photos from this day need to feel like you for the next fifty years.

That's exactly the kind of work I show up to do.

Why this work matters to me

I grew up in Lebanon, Oregon — and it wasn't until I spent a few years living on the coast in Astoria that I picked up a camera for the first time and realized I never wanted to put it down.

That's where it started. And a lot of it goes back to my mom.

She taught me early that photographs aren't just images. They're the thing you reach for when you want to feel something again. The proof that it was real. The gift you leave behind for the people who come after you.

That never left me.

I believe there is nothing more sacred than two people choosing each other — fully, intentionally, in front of the people they love most. And I believe that kind of love deserves to be told carefully. Not rushed through a shot list. Not captured the same way it was captured at the last wedding. Every couple carries a story that belongs only to them — and it's my job to find it, honor it, and hand it back to them in a way that lasts.

My faith is the foundation of everything I do. It shapes the way I see people, the way I move through a wedding day, and the reverence I bring to this work. Getting to witness two people come together in love — and document it beautifully — never gets old.

What you can expect when we work together

  • The details matter as much as the big moments. You spent months choosing your florals, your table settings, your venue, your dress. I notice all of it — and I photograph it like it matters, because it does.
  • Calm is a non-negotiable. Weddings have a way of throwing curveballs. My couples consistently say I was the calm in the chaos — and I take that seriously. Your day should feel like yours, not like a production you're managing.
  • Your vision leads, I guide. I'm not here to put you in poses that don't feel like you. I'm here to listen, remind you of the shots you cared about most, and find angles you didn't even know existed. Even the unconventional ideas — especially those.
  • Presence over performance. You hired a planner and coordinator to handle the logistics. My job is to be completely present for every moment — not distracted, not rushed, just fully focused on telling your story beautifully.
  • These images are your legacy. Not just for Instagram. For your children, your grandchildren, the people who will one day flip through your album and feel the love in every single frame. I photograph with that weight — and that joy — in mind every single time.

When I'm not behind the camera

Golfer mid-swing on a lush green driving range under a partly cloudy sky with yellow ball baskets nearby.
  • I grew up chasing Oregon coastlines — beach bonfires, camping under starry skies, the kind of slow evenings that remind you what actually matters. That pace, that presence, those details — they show up in how I shoot.
  • Day to day you'll find me with a coffee in one hand and a Coke Zero in the other, deep in a romance novel, rewatching Gilmore Girls, or completely absorbed in a good film. I enjoy the outdoors and golfing with my hunny (Kirkland). I'm a homebody who loves to travel. A detail person who also knows when to just be in the moment.
  • My family is everything to me. And my faith is what ties it all together.

Let's talk about your wedding day

If you've read this far, I have a feeling we might be a really good fit. Tell me about your day — the details you've been dreaming about, the moments that matter most, and what you're looking for in someone to document it all.

I can't wait to hear it.
